Paper - An Everyday Product

APIC represents the six biggest manufacturers of paper in Australia - and while the company names might not be familiar to you, the products they make certainly would be.

Paper and cardboard products are something we use every day - starting with bathroom tissue and breakfast cereal cartons, to the morning newspaper, to books and paper used at school or in offices.

APIC's member companies make all these products, including:

  • Tissues, napkins and paper tablecloths (Sorbent, Kleenex, Wondersoft and Deeko);
  • Cartons (made by Amcor);
  • Copy paper (Reflex, made by PaperlinX) and
  • Newspaper (made by Norske Skog).

Recycling services are provided by Visy Recycling.

Paper is an integral part of our daily lives and an important part of the Australian economy.
