Introduction

Sensis Pty Ltd is Telstra's advertising business, and a leading Australian information, advertising and directories business. We provide a broad range of products and services for small and medium enterprises, governments and large corporations, through our brands which include Yellow Pages®, White Pages®, Whereis™ and CitySearch™.

We print around 28 million Yellow Pages® and White Pages® directories each year, to be delivered to almost every home and business in Australia. Production of these directories requires a significant amount of paper.

We are continually exploring ways to reduce this amount - such as through the use of lightweight paper, smaller font sizes and narrow margins. We consider it not only our responsibility but our obligation to ensure that we carry out a range of initiatives to reduce our impact on the environment and encourage others to adopt sound environmental practices.
