Solar PV Development
'Photovoltaic' cells convert sunlight into electricity. Over the past
three years, Origin Energy has put money into the research and development
of photovoltaic cells at the Australian National University. This research
has found a new, cheaper method of producing cells.
We are also funding a project in Perth to make photovoltaic cells even
more efficient.
