Awards
Ralph and his post office team earned all these awards. Each level of USPS Globe Award takes more work than the one before. To gain the fourth Globe - the Emerald - a Post Office has to reduce, reuse, recycle - and have a school or community outreach environmental education program, as well as other related initiatives. Of the 3000 Post Offices in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan, 75 have earned all four globe awards! This is a great accomplishment, and their work is helping to protect our environment.
These include dozens of awards from the White House, many industry awards, and hundreds of state and local environmental awards. This shows the good work we are doing to help the environment.
