Population DistributionPopulation and resources are not divided equally over the countries of the world.
Poorer countries, sometimes called “developing nations” have about 80% of the world’s people, but only use about 20% of the world’s resources – including fossil fuels, metals, wood, minerals and other resources. Richer countries, sometimes called “developed nations” make up only 20% of the world’s population, and use as much as 80% of the world’s resources. More information on Resource Distribution
