Population, Resources and Waste

Not only are there more people on the planet than there were fifty years ago, but some of these people are using more resources than they need. This means we are making more food and more products, using more energy and producing more waste than ever before. Between 50% and 70% of all the resources we use get turned into waste within just one year.
