Minerals Council of Australia
The
Minerals Council of Australia (MCA), is the peak advocacy group for
the Australian minerals industry. The MCA represents companies in exploration,
mining and minerals processing, nationally and internationally.
Their
member companies produce more than 85 per cent of Australia’s
mineral output.
Their objective is to achieve an industry that is safe, profitable,
innovative, environmentally sound, socially responsible and attuned
to the community’s needs and expectations.
The Australian minerals
industry is critically important to the Australian economy because
it underpins manufacturing, construction, banking and finance, process
engineering, property and transport.
