Young People’s Trust for the Environment
Since 2001, the Young People’s Trust for the Environment has
been using the Ollie Recycles CD ROM to help young people learn
more about the environment
and
sustainability.
One of the functions of the YPTE is to visit schools around England
to give talks on environmental issues. During some of these talks,
Ollie Recycles CD ROMs are handed out to classes and used to educate
students on the importance of waste minimisation, resource recovery
and recycling within the local community. Two hundred copies of
the CD ROM have been donated and used in lectures around the country.
 
The YPTE also offer students the opportunity of experiencing
the natural world first hand by attending one of their residential
courses run on the beautiful Dorset coast.
