Be an Eco-Adventurer too!
Eric is a polar ambassador for Ollie Saves the Planet. If he can
practice the 4Rs in some of the harshest environments in the world,
then anyone can do it! We can all follow his example at home.
When he is adventuring, Eric:
- Uses renewable energy - you can do this at home by switching
to a power company that provides wind-generated electricity or
by installing devices such as a solar hot water heater.
- Uses sustainable forms of transport - you can do this at home
by choosing to travel by foot, bicycle, or public transport instead
of by car.
- Reduces waste - you can do this at home by only buying what
you really need and choosing products with less packaging.
- Reuses and repairs - you can do this at home too, instead of
throwing things away.
- Closes the recycling loop - you can do this at home by choosing
to buy products that contain recycled material.
