Recycling plastic bottles does make a difference. It reduces the amount of
waste going to landfill and conserves our natural resources, such as oil. And the best thing is, it's really easy!
Kerbside Collection Scheme
 You may have a kerbside collection scheme in your
area. If so, your local authority will provide a special box or sack for your recyclable rubbish. This is picked up from your doorstep, like normal rubbish. Most plastic
collection schemes only collect plastic bottles and not other plastic containers – make sure you only collect the things your council wants you to collect!
When you're shopping, look for products made from recycled plastic. More and more companies will then start using recycled materials.
