Many electronic goods can be recycled, including computers and accessories, cell phones, audio-visual equipment, rechargeable batteries and household appliances. Check with your recycling coordinator, electronics store or cell phone store to find out what can be recycled in your area.
Many unwanted electronic items, such as computers and computer parts, can be refurbished and reused if they are not too outdated. So, try to take unwanted electronics in to be recycled as soon as you know you don’t need them anymore.
