Governments are ensuring that forests managed for timber production are done so sustainably and with due consideration of environmental, economic and social values.

These sustainably managed forests are extremely important in ensuring the long-term future of forests as one of the world’s truly renewable resources.

There are also things you can do at home such as recycling, but in particular buy wood and wood products that are sourced from sustainably managed forests.
