Fossil Fuels in Australia

Australia is rich in some fossil fuels and produces the fifth largest amount of coal of all the countries in the world. A lot of this coal is sold to other countries, while the rest is used mostly for making electricity. Australia does not produce enough oil for its present consumption so it must import oil.
