Some products cause harm to the environment when they are being made or when we use them. To be a Smart Shopper, check the packaging and watch for these labels:

Phosphate free – choosing cleaning products that are phosphate free will help protect our waterways, since they are less likely to harm our rivers, oceans and wildlife if they are released into the environment.

Biodegradable - choose biodegradable products as they break down easily and cause less damage to the environment.

Made from Plantation Timber - these products are made from plantation timber and not from native forests.
