Glass Recycling tips
It's easy to get your glass bottles and jars ready to be recycled. As you collect used glass
containers, separate them by colours: clear, green and brown. If you have any bluish glass, put it
in with the green. Remove all metal caps, lids and rings (labels can stay on). Finally, you should
rinse any leftover contents so your collection won't smell bad or attract ants and bees. Keep
collecting them this way until it's recycling day - when you set them out for kerbside collection or
go with a parent to drop them off at a recycling centre.
